The iVi is a neck worn fall detector that is designed to add even more protection and safety than the standard Lifeline Telecare 24/7 Monitored Alarm service.
When a person has a fall, or suddenly feels unwell, they may not be able to push the button on their pendants and call for help. When a person has a fall and loses consciousness, or has a heart attack or stroke, they are often physically unable to push the button. This is where the iVi Neck Worn Fall Detector becomes essential.
The iVi is the cutting edge in fall detection technology. Special sensors are designed to detect a fall, and activate when the user is unable to push the button. When the iVi detects a fall it will automatically activate the base unit and call through to Lifeline Telecare’s team of 24/7 response centre operatives.
In addition to the fall detection feature, the iVi has a button on the face of the pendant that allows the wearer to push the button when they can.
The iVi can give confidence to anyone who is at risk of falling, such as people with limited mobility, older people and people with long-term conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes and Parkinson’s disease.
