The SureSafe Personal Alarm is the number one selling personal alarm that calls directly through to family & friends, not to a response centre. The alarm is an affordable one-off payment, with no ongoing monthly fees… EVER!
The SureSafe Personal Alarm is as simple as it is effective. Designed with simplicity in mind, the alarm is programmed to call up to three telephone numbers of family, friends and neighbours. Affordable peace of mind.
The alarm user wears an alarm button; this is either a pendant around their neck, or a wristband on their wrist. They wear the button in and around their home and garden, and if they get into any difficulty e.g. a fall or sudden illness, all they need to do is press the button to call for help. The buttons have a range of up to 50 metres from the base unit, this covers most people’s home and gardens.
When the user activates the alarm, the base unit automatically dials out to the pre-programmed telephone numbers. The alarm calls the first number, if the call goes unanswered then it calls the second number next. If the second number does not answer then it calls the third number, and so on. The alarm will try each of the three numbers up to 5 times each, making 15 attempted telephone calls.
If the alarm reaches a voicemail or answerphone it will automatically dial the next number. It is not fooled by voicemails!
When the alarm call is answered, two-way communication is possible through the base unit.
The pendant is water resistant, designed to be used in the shower. The wristband is splash-proof, suitable for everyday use around the home.
The alarm base unit plugs into the landline telephone socket in the home. The alarm comes with a telephone socket splitter/double adaptor, so it can plug into the existing telephone socket. The alarm does not interfere with the existing telephone or internet. Everything thing that you need for this alarm comes in the box. It is very easy to use, and very easy to set up. Simply plug it in, program in the three numbers and away you go!
